Data Services
Overview
The EYE Project is part of the Environmental Records Information Centre (ERIC) North East. ERIC North East manages a database containing over 600,000 species records. From this database, we provide a data enquiry service for both commercial and non-commercial users. Data held in this system is validated and verified to ensure data quality.
For further information please contact Katherine Pinnock on 0191 222 5158 or contact us by email at eric.ne@twmuseums.org.uk
We aim to complete an average enquiry within 10 working days. Information is supplied in the form of a spreadsheet listing relevant species and sites.
Charging Policy
A charge of £80 + VAT per hour is levied to commercial users to cover the administrative costs of performing a data request. There is no charge for the data.
Information used for non-commercial purposes is normally supplied free of charge.
